What is Ecological balance?

There is a fine tuned ecological balance between the incredibly large number of microbes in the gut and us- the host. It is of outmost importance for our health and wellbeing that this balance is maintained in an optimal way.

What makes our
product unique?

Clostridium difficile - is an anaerobic spore-forming bacterium that colonizes man early in life. The bacterium can produce toxin (poison) - from toxin A and B - which are considered to have disease-causing properties.

treatment work?

In more severe cases the traditional therapy is either metronidazole or vancomycin, but the risk for recurrent infection is about 30%, and after further medication the recurrence rate increases to 50%.

We are NIMBIOTA

NIM is a research and development company with the aim to find solutions to restore and maintain a balanced and functional microbial ecosystem in the gut. The company was created by a group of physicians and researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and Norwegian Universities.
